Dutdutan 2007!!!

Dutdutan na!!!

At dahil ang okasyon nuong Sabado, December 15, 2007, ay para sa mga Pinoy Tattoo Artists eh gagawin ko munang tagalog ang edition na 'to ng aking blog... Yeeezzzz.... =)

Gusto ko lang mag-share ng isang kuwento na nangyari nung event. Isa lang, hindi na kailangan ng marami pang kuwento sa dami ng pictures na nilagay ko dito. Hehehe...

Mac: Oh pre, nakuhanan mo ko ng picture?

Kyle: Hindi eh... Ang layo naman kasi...

Mac: (Pabulong na WTF!!!)

Parang gumuho ata ang mundo ko, minsan na nga lang ako mag-pose na model at 1st time ko sa competition, wala man lang akong souvernir... Pakshet naman...

Mac: Duh! Sure ka lang huh. Sa dami ng kasali sa category ko paano pa?

Slinky: Trust me... Maniwala ka, feel ko na eh...

Play Ball! (Year-end Edition)

11:50 pm. Saturday night.

I stepped outside our house, looked up in the sky and asked myself...

"Is it gonna rain tomorrow? Kaya na ba ng katawan ko? Mom might kill me if I come home crawling in sickness..."

The sky sure looks OK, they said there would a super typhoon but good thing it didn't happen. My body feels better compared to how it was 3 days ago. Sige, bahala na si Batman. Baseball only happens twice in a year and before the year ends, it's gonna be this weekend only.

So I decided to tell my team captain that I'm fit to play the 1st game only of our scheduled double-header the next morning. I already told him earlier in the day that I won't be fit to play. Good thing I decided to come and join them coz we're short of members in the team. I said to myself, just wanna sweat it out after taking in all those prescriptions.

The Titans Series was announced around a month ago and a lot of peeps already said yes, but you know how things change so fast, the day came and those people disappeared like bubbles popping out in thin air.

So anyway, sa kasamaang-palad, we were still short of players during the 8:00am schedule so we decided to call it as a default - automatic one loss for us and just play a practice game with our official opponents, the Koreans. Anybody who wanted to play went ahead and roamed the field, fielded some balls and stuff.

Anyway, I was pretty glad that I did fairly well at the plate. 1st AB: walk (runner scored on a wild pitch) 2nd AB: infield single (my first hit!!! hell yeah!!!) 3rd AB: struck out looking (yun lang...) I was having a hard time running the bases, I can't hustle much, still feeling the effects of my sickness. Good thing I met my new friend from the US, Eddie Boyd, a die-hard baseball fanatic who'll be here in Manila for one whole year. I was able to throw around and hit at the batting cages with him, prepped me up for the games. Whew! Thanks man!

Good, goood, gooooooood thing I didn't fell sick again after sweating it out. I guess the Lord really wants me to play baseball after all. =)

Faith to Last a Lifetime - Finally

Mac: Bro, pina-format mo ba 'tong PC mo?

Butch: Oo bro, lagi nagha-hang eh. Bakit?

Mac: Nakow! Yung mga fonts na ininstall natin nawala na...

Butch: Ha?! Ganun ba yun?! Hindi ko man lang nagagamit pa! Yung font na gagamitin natin andun pa.

Mac: Tsk tsk. Ok lang, download na lang uli natin. =P

Yeah... Yeah... Yeah... One of those days when you thought everything is just doin' fine. Hehehe. No worries, a few steps going to the nearby internet shop didn't hurt. A few clicks, searched a bit and off we go, back to the shop.

I've been dreaming of this day. And it finally arrived. Of course, for every tattoo collector, nothing else would be much sweeter but to see the finished artwork on your skin. It took us a while, not because I chickened out on every session or something but, you know, the Master had to go out of town for several weeks.

All in all, it took us 5 months of waiting. Around 15 hours of total needle work. Whew. Sa tagal nga eh nakabuo pa ko ng website ni Butch. =)

The Whole Tattoo Experience

Do I miss my back being tattoo-free? Nope.

1st Session - May 26, 2007 - 3 hours

2nd Session - July 28, 2007 - 3 hours

3rd Session - August 11, 2007 - 4.5 hours

4th Session - September 5, 2007 - 2 hours

5th Session - October 25, 2007 - 3 hours

You know what? It was just fitting to end the session on that day, Thursday - St. Jude's Weekly Novena.

I don't know man. I just can't describe the feeling. Not just because the tattoo's done, but I kinda felt spiritual in a way. Everyday I've been praying to St. Jude for guidance and assistance and I can assure you, he helped me in one way or another. Sigh... I'm just happy in every aspect that you can think of.

So, I guess the blog about my tattoo ends here. But of course, as what my title says, my faith would never end. =)

Salamat sa lahat ng dumamay sa akin from the time I started with my tattoo. Sa mga sumama sa akin sa shop, sa mga nag-assist sa akin mag-maintain ng tat ko, sa tattoo artist ko at shempre to the Higher Being above, and St. Jude of course.

This Ain't...

This ain't EXTREME, this is just STUPID! =P

I just can't stop laughing when I heard this line from my friend.

Mac: Pare, umuusok na tayo pare...

Lewi: What the... Anong kalokohan 'to?

Itian: Ok lang yan, ganito lang yan, madali lang naman eh...

Mac: Madali?!?! Anong madali ha?!?!

Lewi: I'm watching your back pare...

Itian: Hehehe... Just ride it pare...

After almost a year of straight work - no play, I finally managed to take a week-long vacation from the office. So now what? What do I do? Hmmmm. Picked up my cellphone and texted best bud Christian.

Ouy pare, leave ako sa 22-30, bike naman tayo!

Oo ba, just tell me when.

We had a hard time deciding where to go. Caliraya? Majayjay? Montalban? Hmmm. Finally, the night before the "big day" turned out to be an issue. We got no venue yet! Oh by the way, another good buddy Lewi joined us.

How about La Mesa Ecopark? Yeah, I heard that it's a nice place to do some trail. So the next day, off we go. Wow, damn rain man. It was really pouring hard. Dam boy! Dam! Literally we were at the Dam. =P

Pero teka, eto na lang ba talaga 'to? Tsk tsk. Nabitin ang mga kasama ko. Wala daw thrill yung trail dito. Uh oh...

Lipat tayo!!! Saan? Saan pa, eh di sa atin mismo! Sa Taytay!

After lunch at our place, we headed to my Kuya Garry's house (he's the one that owns the bike and the gear I'm using) to prepare again and climb Taytay's own Mountain Bike Trail. Their village is the gateway to the hill, just in case you're wondering.

My mom said not to go anymore as it's raining hard and the trail will be so slippery that I might fall off the cliff. Even the workers there at my Kuya's place said the same thing. What the heck, minsan lang 'to.

It was a lot of fun. Battered and bruised after but I got no complaints. Total of 3 bike-falls, a couple of scratches here and there, torn clothes, heavy rains, slippery trail and a very hungry stomach after would sum up my experience that day...

So from here, I'll let the pictures tell the story. Hokay? =P

Turn On The Motor

Mac: Boss, gising Boss...

Manong: Yes sir?

Mac: Boss, paki-on naman po yung jacuzzi oh...

Manong: Ah sige sir, pero isang oras lang po yun kasi yung motor eh...

Mac: Nye! (Pero natulog ng mahaba si Manong, kaya ayun, 6 hours na naka-on)

Last October 9, the Partorizans (for the lack of a better name to use :P) led by Mader Deb and the whole crew spent the night away at this pretty cool and simple place located in Antipolo City.

Oh yeah... Cattleya Farms... I've been familiar with this place since I was a kid. We usually spend our family reunions during Easter here.

I've got nothing much to share about the trip, that's why I'm gonna let the pictures and the videos do the talking for me. Hehe.

A few interesting things though. I really enjoyed this team building activity so much that I wanna go back again. Sarap magbabad sa jacuzzi eh. We were overflowing with food and booze, thanks to my new teammate who was a bartender before. Haha!

Not to forget na inindiyan kame ni Renee aka Dre. Ayun, nagkanda-letse-letse pagkain namin kasi sabi n'ya siya daw magluluto and we'll go crazy over his dishes. Yeah right!
